電子音楽を基盤に、
民族音楽や日本のポップスのテイストを
散りばめたサウンドをバックに、
伸びやかな声で表現をしている。
作詞、作曲、編曲まで自らで行う
マルチプレイヤー。
音楽に触れた始まりは、
YMOに感銘し、5歳で始めたエレクトーン。
器楽隊でアコーディオン、
ブラスバンドでアルトサックス担当の経験も。
高校生からシンセサイザーに触れ、
作曲、打ち込みを始め、
現在につながる音楽制作を始める。
1997年、レコーディングエンジニア
寺田康彦氏が主宰する
「シンクシンクレコード」よりデビュー。
デビューシングル「はちみつ」は
YMOの細野晴臣氏参加。
シンクシンクレコード、ポリスターを経て、
2013年に自身のレーベル
「yucafe records」を始動。
上野洋子主宰のVITA NOVAや、
ショップメカノの「築10年」等にも参加。
マイペースで都内中心にライブ活動も行う。
荒川都電や、プラネタリウムなど、
ユニークな場所でのライブも企画。

YUCA MURAKAMI profile
I express myself with a smooth voice over a sound that is based on electronic music and interwoven with the tastes of ethnic music and Japanese pop.
I am a multi-player who writes lyrics, composes, and arranges music by myself.
My first encounter with music began when I was five years old, playing the Electone after being impressed by YMO.
I also have experience playing the accordion in an instrumental group and the alto saxophone in a brass band.
As a high school student, I started working with synthesizers, composing, and programming, which led to my current music production.
In 1997, I made my debut with "Think Sync Records," led by recording engineer Yasuhiko Terada.
The debut single "Hachimitsu" featured the participation of Haruomi Hosono of YMO.
After working with Think Sync Records Records and Polystar, I launched my own label "yucafe records" in 2013.
I have also participated in projects such as VITA NOVA, led by Yoko Ueno, and "chiku 10-nen" by Shop Mecano.
I am currently active in live performances mainly in Tokyo, at unique venues such as the Arakawa Toden（streetcar） and planetariums.
I was born on December 10, 1974, and I am a Sagittarius.
I am originally from Sapporo.Japan and currently live in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture.
